what to expect
This year’s final concert promises a range of experiences, from the poetic to the explosive.
The program includes Gabriella Smith's exhilarating and captivating work Carrot Revolution for string quartet, with brand-new choreography by Elenora Morris. Also on the program is the magnificent Nonet for piano, strings, and winds by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, a masterpiece he completed at the age of just 19.

Felicia is principal oboist at the Royal Danish Orchestra and member of the V Coloris Woodwind Quintet.
Gerbrich is an internationally acclaimed chamber musician, soloist and orchestral player who also hosts her own one-woman show on tour around the Netherlands.
Nikolaj is principal bassoonist at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and teacher at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Claudio is principal horn player of the Royal Danish Orchestra.
Adam is an international soloist and chamber musician, and prizewinner at the International Johannes Brahms Competition.
Emily is concertmaster of Manchester's The Hallé orchestra, and co-founder of the Scottish ensemble Thirteen North.
Minna is a freelance musician based in Amsterdam and violist with the award-winning ADAM quartet.
Kei is principal violist at the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and frequent guest at orchestras all around Europe.
Dodo is solo cellist at both the Odense Symphony Orchestra and Danmarks Underholdningsorkester.
Joel is principal cellist of the Royal Danish Orchestra and member of the critically acclaimed Poseidon Quartet.
Ramsey plays double bass in the Royal Danish Orchestra, and is formerly a member of South Africa’s Kwa-Zulu Philharmonic.
Yannick is an acclaimed international soloist and chamber musician, based in Berlin.
Ellie is a freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer based in New York City.
