om Adam

Adam Koch er opvokset i Præstø og startede med at spille violin som femårig. Siden 2016 har han studeret på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.

Adam har vundet internationale priser ved bl.a. Tibor Varga internationale violinkonkurrence, W. A. Mozart konkurrence i Salzburg, og J. Brahms konkurrence. 

I 2019-22 var han alternerende koncertmester i Leopoldinum Kammerorkester i Wrocław, Polen og spillede i sæson 2022-2023 som koncertmester i Det Kgl. Kapel.

Siden 2023 er han kunstnerisk co-director af Oremandsgaard Kammermusikfest. Han har fulgt Malko Skolens dirigentundervisning i samarbejde med DR og for tiden studerer han ved Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler i Berlin.

about Adam

Adam grew up on the Danish island of Præstø, where he started playing the violin at the age of 5. He enrolled at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2016.

Adam has won several prizes at international violin competitions, including the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition, the W. A. Mozart Competition in Salzburg and the Johannes Brahms Competition.

From 2019 - 2022 he played as alternate concert master in the Leopoldinium Chamber Orchestra in Wrocław, Poland, and the 2022-2023 season he played as concert master at the Royal Danish Orchestra.

Since 2023 Adam is co-artistic director of Oremandsgaard Kammermusikfest, and he continues his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin.
